OUR STORY

We have all heard of the hospitality cupid.....well he got us, many years ago at Murrayfield Stadium where it all began.  I'm not sure if it was overworked, tired or something in the hospitality air...but here we are 14 years later, with a lovely family and a hospitality business we can call our own. So thank you cupid!

With a passion for the industry and working with some amazing people in the most iconic venues -  we decided it was time to put our skills to good use. Not knowing that COVID-19 was just around the corner.

We wanted to create something that stood out and could be used at premium events all over the UK offering a stylish approach to Hospitality services on the go.  After various trips to local and international music festivals and major events we had an idea to convert two vintage horseboxes into really cool looking bars. After a short period of deliberation we decided it was time to follow our dream.

And, Timorous Beastie Events was born, 2019.  What a year!

Fast forward 6 years and here we are. It was an interesting time to start a business, with a lot of doubt however, some breathing space to plan, navigate and develop lifelong relationships seemed to be the key.

We featured exclusively at The Den at Culross, Abercairny Estate, Bannockburn House and Alexander House and regularly popped up frequently at Comrie Croft and Bachilton Barn, Kirknewton Stables. We currently do not frequent the bar scene as much and mainly focus on our exclusive relationship with Alexander House Scotland and Bachilton Barn. However please do enquire and if we can fulfil what you are looking for we will.

2021 saw the opening of our first cafe, The Wee Timorous Beastie Cafe situated in the high street in Bridge of Allan - come join us for some delicious Italian coffee and homemade Scottish favourites.

2024 we started Timorous Beastie Woodfired Pizza and it has been well received at weddings and events across the country.  Wedding Pizza has become such a trend in the market allowing you to develop your very own pizza love story by creating your very own wedding pizza combination.  After all it is your story.

We hope you have seen us at Stirling Summer Sessions, Glasgow Mela, Glasgow World Pipe Band championhipd, Glasgo Life Events, Loch Lomond Shores Festival, The Perth Show, The Eden Festival, The Gravel, Deanstoun Distillery, Bridge of Allan Fireworks to name just a few.

Our newest innovation is street coffee.

We have since homed in on our coffee knowledge and since opening the Wee Timorous Beastie Cafe have developed a local relationship with Scotrail and developed a pop up coffee solution for commuters.  We operate on a daily basis at Stirling, Edinburgh Haymarket, recently Kirkcaldy and a few more sites to come soon.  Shop local and love where you commute is our motto.

If you see us on your travels at an event near you please pop along and say hello or just snap a pic and upload to your socials @timorousbeastieevents @weetimorousbeastiecafe @timorousbeastiestreetcoffee
